Some Shadow Plays From The Cave
A porno-philosophical dialogue presented as an endless stream of AI generated plays printed in a twenty page broadsheet..
All plays were produced through AI text generating software.
The characters Socrates and Glaucon appear in Plato’s The Cave; Socrates describing his ideas on the nature of reality to Glaucon. The plays deal with imagined scenarios of what else happened between Socrates and Glaucon - using a pornographic entrance to the limitless darkness of this cave.
The plays printed are an assorted sample of the many plays produced and in no particular order.
All plays should be re-enacted in a dark theatre.

A selection of the plays were then developed as an gallery installation of two rolling autocues waiting to be spoken.
Alongside this were the props the AI had decided to include in the plays as well as costume drawings for all the extra characters that had been added by the AI.
